Walker’s Way Weeds recycles paper into papercrete by shredding and pulping with water, and then adding Portland cement, colorants, and various small lightweight aggregates. The resulting clay-like medium can be molded or hand-formed. The creations can be left to cure to a natural finish, or sealed, or even painted and embellished, to create useful garden items that are lighter in weight than regular concrete. There are a myriad of uses for papercrete, and as a craft medium, the possibilities are infinite:
Paper is not the only discarded weed that can be re-purposed to create garden planters and ornaments!
